One of the days we are going to be cooking with the kids an American meal and then eat it together. So in preperation we asked the LSV kids who will be helping us next week to join us in a practice run.
We are making omelettes, slicing bread and spreading nutella on the bread. So some of the kids broke the eggs an added some milk and salt, and some other kids chopping the vegetables. We had green onions, tomatoes and green peppers.
When everything was prepared we allowed the kids to pick what they wanted in their omelletes and then we cooked it. Some of the kids even wanted to cook it themselves.
After they ate it we asked what they thought and they gave suggetions of other things to put in them.
It was a lot of fun working together and spending time getting to know the kids a little bit better.
